Tracy Morgan - Tracy Morgan Returns To Nashville For Apology

Tracy Morgan, the American actor who stunned a Nashville audience during a recent stand-up show with a series of homophobic jokes, has returned to the city to apologise for his performance. Tracy Morgan met with the press to speak out in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender media advocacy, reports Usa Today.
The '30 Rock' star returned to the scene of his 3rd June 2011 gig, where he allegedly stated he would stab his son if he acted gay. Kevin Reynolds, a fan of Morgan who first reported the anti-gay remarks, joined the actor at the press conference. During his apology, Tracy said, "I apologize to Kevin and people that were at the show. I want to apologize to my friends, and my family and my fans and everyone in every community who were offended with this. I didn't know. I didn't mean it. I don't have a hateful bone in my body". During the controversial stand-up routine, the Emmy Award nominated actor reportedly told the sold-out crowd, "Gays need to quit being pussies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying", before suggesting being homosexual was something people learn from the media. Referring to his comments at today's press conference, Morgan said, "I totally feel that, in my heart, I don't care who you love, same-sex or not, as long as you have the ability to love. I don't really see gay or straight, I just see human beings now"
Tracy Morgan's Nashville show had promoted angry responses from the audience, with some fans of the actor walking out mid performance.
