Amy Winehouse was exceptional, I loved her!!!! She admits she loved these artists and listened to them for hours on end. She had the talent to become a great & develop into an artist whose depth was as far reaching, but she by no means was an Ella or a Billie! To make that statement is irresponsible & insulting to the legacy of these two greats. Amy could not TOUCH Ella Fitzgerald!!!..at least not by the time of death. One song "Body & Soul", sung, attempting capture the spirit of the great Billie Holiday, does not an icon make... Mr. Bennett.
