Tom Meighan - Tom Meighan Vows To Bounce Back From Kasabian's Glastonbury Snub

British rocker Tom Meighan has vowed to land the headline slot at Britain's Glastonbury festival for his band Kasabian after they were overlooked as top-billing for this year's (13) event.

The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons are leading the bill at the huge music event in June (13), but Meighan was annoyed when organiser Michael Eavis failed to offer his band a headlining slot.

He tells Nme magazine, "I'm not playing second fiddle to those bands. We're just as good, if not better. We're the ultimate, we're the headline band. But he didn't call us... Glastonbury's on our 'to-do' list. All he's got to do is pick up the phone. We've got every f**king right to headline Glastonbury 'cos we're good enough. It will happen."

The band played Glastonbury in 2009, taking to the stage before headline act Bruce Springsteen.
