Tom Jones - Tom Jones To Remain On 'The Voice', Providing He Chooses The Judges
The viewing figures dropped, the winner didn't manage to crack the UK Top 40, and advance tickets for the live tour were so slow that it got cancelled, yet 'The Voice' is still looking like it might carry on in Britain, with Sir Tom Jones admitting that he's keen to remain as a voice coach on the show - providing he has the final say in who will be sitting there alongside him.
The Press Association reports that Jones told Rob Brydon on his new chat show that the idea of continuing appealed to him. "I think I will do another series. We are talking about it now", he said. "But there are a couple of things that need to be ironed out." Uh oh. "One of the things I said I need to know is who the other coaches are, because I don't want to be sitting there with somebody that I don't admire or particularly like... there are a few of them! Hopefully, we will have the same four coaches."
That seems unlikely, with Jessie J already confirming that she'll be leaving the show, whilst it's up in the air whether Will.I.AM will continue too. Jones at least sounded supportive of the team behind 'The Voice' though, saying "There are going to be changes made because they want to make the show the best it can be."
