Tom Hardy To Play Outlaw Biker
Tom Hardy is to star as an outlaw biker in a new Warner Bros. film.
The 'This Means War' actor - who recently signed a first-look deal with the studio - will play a wounded VietNam veteran who goes home to San Francisco in the middle of the culture clash of the late 60s in the as-yet-untitled movie.
Instead of going with the sexually free and liberal atmosphere in the Californian city, he instead decides to become leader of the state's most violent gang.
Mark L. Smith is currently completing The Script from an original idea by John Linson.
Tom rose to fame for a number of supporting parts in movies such as 'Star Trek: Nemesis' and 'LayerCake' but soon took on larger roles in movies including 'Inception' and 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy'.
He will next be seen as the villainous Bane in Batman movie 'The Dark Knight Rises' - opposite Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale - which is due out in July.
