Tom Cruise - Tom Cruise Slams Tabloid For 'Disgusting' Suri Story

According to Tmz.com, Fields - a long-time member of Cruise's legal team - said of the story, "That, as anyone knows who saw their photos together yesterday and today, is a disgusting, vicious lie.Until this week, Tom was shooting a film on location, but he spoke to Suri every day". The Hollywood actor has been shooting his forthcoming sci-fi movie 'Oblivion' in California, though flew through the night to be with his daughter in New York on Tuesday (July 17, 2012). Cruise touched down in time to take Suri to her weekly gymnastics class, before dropping her off at Katie Holmes' new apartment building later in the evening. The former couple did not speak to one another, and the 'handover' was organized by intermediaries. Issuing his statement while Cruise was still in New York, Fields added, "He's with Suri right now; and he was with her the day before Life [and] Style trumpeted their cruelly false accusation. Tom dearly loves Suri and the last thing he would ever do is abandoned her".

Tom and Kate agreed a divorce settlement just 11 days after the actress filed papers in New York. The 'Batman Begins' star reportedly "blindsided" her husband with the divorce, though both have spoken of their desire to support daughter Suri.
