Toby Keith - Toby Keith Remembers Bass Player At Funeral

Country star Toby Keith paid his respects to his longtime bass player at a memorial service on Tuesday (05Mar13).

Carl 'Chuck' Goff, Jr., who worked with Keith for 25 years, was killed in a car crash in Oklahoma on 27 February (13) at the age of 54.

Police are investigating the accident, and the singer was among the mourners at Goff's funeral.

In a post on his Twitter.com blog, he writes, "The Chuck Goff family, along with our music family, gathered... to send our boy home.

"The overwhelming amount of Chuckie stories and condolences received in the past few days, are examples of how much he meant to us all. He will live on forever in memory.

"It will never be the same when I look to my left on stage. But it's a much better world than never knowing him at all. Godspeed Chuck... Rip."
