Toby Keith Becomes A Movie Star
Country superstar Toby Keith is set to add actor to his impressive resume after signing on to star in his first film.
The I LOVE THIS BAR singer, who also owns his own record label and restaurant chain, will play a forgotten songwriter struggling with a comeback in BROKEN BRIDGES.
The film, which will premiere in country music capital Nashville, Tennessee, in September (06), will co-star Kelly Preston and newcomer Lindsey Haun as Keith's movie daughter.
The singer will reteam with BEER FOR MY HORSES collaborator Willie Nelson for the movie's main theme, UNCLOUDY DAY.
