Tinchy Stryder Pulls Out Of Celebrity Big Brother
The 25 year-old has had a relatively successful career, his second album making number two in the UK Album Charts in 2009 and spawning two UK chart topping singles in 'Number 1' and 'Never Leave You'. However last year's 'Third Strike' fared less better at 48. Despite this, the star has insisted earning easy millions isn't what he wants, re-focusing instead on trying to earn it through music. He said "I respect myself for making this decision because they offered me a lot of money. Then, when I decided to go back and say no to the show, the money doubled. But music is my first thing and I love the people that support me and just know in my heart it wasn't the right thing to do."
Musicians haven't always come out of the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house with their reputations as artists intact, the most high profile being Samuel Preston who, following his stint, married fellow contestant Chantelle Houghton and disbanded his group The Ordinary Boys to write a disastrously received solo album. The Ordinary Boys are now back together.
