Pop singer JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has been named the most charitable star of 2009 - his work to help sick children has raised almost $10 million (£6 million).
The former boy band member has been named the most influential celebrity for charitable causes in a survey by U.S. website The Daily Beast.
Timberlake has raised $9,198,072 (£5,749,020) for his favourite good cause, Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Madonna came second in the list, having gathered funds of $5,501,835 (£3,438,647) for her Raising Malawi foundation, while former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson was third, raising $4,806,750 (£3,004,219) for animal rights organisation People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
The top five was rounded out by media mogul Oprah Winfrey and her Oprah's Angel Network, and U2 frontman Bono with his ONE foundation.
