Tim Robbins - Tim Robbins Cancels Concert

The Oscar-winning actor has put movie-making on hiatus while he focuses on music, and last year (10) he recorded his debut album, Tim Robbins & The Rogues Gallery Band.

He has since spent time performing gigs in the U.K. and Europe, and his current trek Down Under has proved so successful he's cancelled a stopover in Auckland, New Zealand on 30 April (11) to remain on the road in Australia.

In a statement, the promoters of the axed show say, "The Oscar winner's popularity over the Tasman has seen his shows sell well in Australia, and these engagements have been extended to capitalise on this. His U.S. schedule has not allowed for rescheduling later dates."
