Rapper T.I. has turned drugs counsellor as part of his community service punishment for weapon charges.
The Bring 'Em Out star - real name Clifford Harris Jr. - pleaded guilty to various counts for possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon last week (ends04Apr08).
And as part of a plea deal, he was ordered to spend at least 1,000 hours over the next year speaking against drugs, guns and gangs to "at-risk youth".
The star has already visited pupils in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday (04Apr08), telling them: "Hopefully the mistakes I've made can come across to you and you can see where I went wrong, so you don't have to go down the same road."
