T.I. Missed Out On Tower Heist, World War Z Roles In Prison

Rapper T.I. missed out on starring roles opposite Eddie Murphy in Tower Heist and Brad Pitt in World War Z - because he was behind bars.

The Live Your Life hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., walked free from a halfway house in September (11) after serving an 11-month prison sentence for a probation violation, and he is still kicking himself for losing his way because his latest stint behind bars cost him a couple of lucrative Hollywood deals.

He tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "I was supposed to be in the film Tower Heist with Ben Stiller. The Eddie Murphy movie. I was supposed to be in that. And I wasn't able, obviously, to be there. G.I. Joe II (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), they called me for that.

"World War Z with Brad Pitt. They called me for that. The Joel Silver movie (Bullet to the Head) - I would have been co-starring with Sylvester Stallone. They called me for that too."

The hip-hop star made his acting debut back in 2006 in small film Atl and has since appeared in American Gangster and Takers.
