Thunderstorms Cause Travel Nightmare For Ed Sheeran
The A-Team hitmaker is currently on a promotional tour of the U.S., but he suffered a setback when officials ruled it too dangerous for planes to land at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport and re-directed his flight to the neighbouring state of Iowa.
He kept fans updated on his travel nightmare via his Twitter.com blog, but he was determined to perform in Minneapolis and told them to sit tight as he waited for the heavy rain to blow over so he could board a flight to the city.
In a series of posts, he wrote, "There was a thunderstorm in Minneapolis, so now I'm in Iowa... No planes are allowed to land in Minneapolis now apparently... Damn thunderstorms...
"Minneapolis people, the plane is delayed not cancelled, il be there, it's just a question of when".
However, he finally got on his way later in the evening, writing on Twitter, "Whoop! Now on my way to Minneapolis!"
