Thor Ask Schwarzenegger To Help Them Fly To Germany Gig

Heavy metal rockers THOR have asked California governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER to help get them to a concert in Germany following the travel chaos in Europe last week (beg12Apr10).
The group is desperate to perform at the Keep It True festival in Lauda-Konigshofen on Friday (23Apr10), but they have so far been unable to travel because of the volcanic eruption in Iceland, which grounded all flights to and from Europe for several days.
But frontman Jon Mikl Thor, who is pals with Schwarzenegger, has asked the Terminator star to allow them to board a military plane scheduled to fly to Germany from the Beale Air Force Base in northern California.
Former bodybuilder Thor tells, "The volcanic ash from the Icelandic eruption has stopped all travel from North America to Europe for commercial airlines. I don't always ask Arnold for help but this is a special request. If Arnold ever needed my help, I would be there in an instant."
Thor previously helped out Schwarzenegger by performing with the band at the Californian military base to entertain troops.
