The Stars Come Out For New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week is now in its fourth year, and it looks as though with each passing year the more stars come out in force to show their support for the week-long fashion-fest.

The event, branded as the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, kicked things off on Thursday night with the Fashion Night out, which saw the likes of Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian and even Miss Piggy make an appearance. Cyndi Lauper made an appearance too, as she popped up at the Blahnik store to promote her new musical, Kinky Boots, based on the 2006 independent British film of the same name.

Whilst Kim Kardashian was promoting her $123 perfume gift set on one side of town, the other saw mother and daughter pair Yasmin Le Bon and Amber Le Bon model at the Westfield shopping centre along with Elizabeth Jagger. In another corner of the fashion-conscious city was another glamorous three-some, this time with Michael Kors, Kate Upton and Debra Messing coming together to judge a karaoke contest in Kors' Madison Avenue store, all in the name of fashion.

The first night continually showed that good things come in threes, as another threesome were on show at the high-end Bergdorf Goodman store, With Victoria Beckham, Rachel Zoe and Robert Verdi promoting the store in Burger King-style hats.

With the stars even appearing on TV shopping channel QVC to promote the week, including Nicole Richie and Jennifer Hudson, it looks as though we really are in for one star-studded and glamorous week ahead.
