Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino says rehab was ''unbearable''.
The 'Jersey Shore' star has opened up about his stint in a treatment facility in March to cure his addiction to prescription pills, describing it as the toughest experience of his life.
Speaking in a teaser for the first episode of the hit MTV show's sixth season, Mike confessed: ''The last couple of months I have been really working on getting back to who I really am. I was dependent on prescription pills. I knew I needed help and I went to rehab.
''Rehab is the most unbearable, unpleasant experience you could possibly go through but I am the cleanest and healthiest I have ever been since I was 21 or so.''
The 30-year-old star was confronted by his housemates - Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Pauly Delvecchio, Sammi Giancola, Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, Jenni 'Jwoww' Farley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro - around the dinner table about his problems, and he revealed he has found a new lease of life since becoming sober.
Mike admitted: ''I quit the hard s**t. I run four miles a day, I'm the healthiest I've been ... I was just exhaused, so tired. I just needed to just go to sleep, you know?
''I put my hands up, I was like, 'Man, I can't do this no more,' and that was it. I had to fix the problem. I went away for 34 days.''
This comes after the 'Celebrity Big Brother' star was allegedly seen ''downing so many cocktails he could barely stand'' on a night out in Los Angeles on Tuesday (02.10.12).
His representative strongly denied the claim and insisted Mike is still sober and was partying ''with twelve other people and there was a pitcher of sangria for the other people. He did not drink any alcohol.''
