The Roots Call On Fans To Design Jam Session Logo

Acclaimed hip-hop group THE ROOTS are giving fans the chance to get creative and come up with a new logo for their famous Jam Session in an online competition.

The Roots Jam Session is widely considered to be one of the most exciting music extravaganzas during the award season, bringing together a diverse range of artists, including rockers Travis Barker and Fall Out Boy and Jewish reggae star Matisyahu, to collaborate with the band.

And The Roots want to get their fans heavily involved in the upcoming sixth annual Roots Jam Session by launching a search for the most innovative logo via Twitter.com.

Artists have been urged to send in links to their designs to the event's page on the social networking site until 7 January (10). A winner will be announced on Twitter shortly after the closing date.

The Roots Jam Session is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on 30 January (10), on the eve of the Grammy Awards.
