The Notorious B.i.g - The Notorious B.i.g Killed By Armour Piercing Bullet
The Notorious B.I.G was killed by a rare type of armour-piercing bullet, strengthening the argument that a corrupt police officer murdered the legendary rapper, reports the UK's Daily Mail. The news comes after previously unseen Fbi files surrounding the unsolved murder of the The Notorious B.I.G were released.
The Notorious Big, aka Christopher Wallace, was gunned down in Los Angeles in 1997. One of the biggest artists in the U.S. at the time of this death, Big's murder has often been put down to the 'war' between West Coat and East Cost rappers. After attending a music event at the Peterson Automotive Museum, Wallace got into the back of a Gmc Suburban car. A Chevy SS Impala pulled up alongside the vehicle and a gunman sprayed gunfire before quickly leaving the scene. Fbi files identify the type of bullets used as Gecko 9mm, a rare metal-piercing ammunition and available in the U.S. through just two distributors. The revelations once again bring up the name of David Mack, a corrupt former L.A. police officer who served 14 years in jail for armed bank robbery in 1997. When the Fbi raided MACk's home, they discovered Gecko 9mm ammunition and a black Chevy SS Impala parked outside.
The new Notorious B.I.G files note the failure of the Lapd to connect the car and gun found at MACk's home with those used in the killing of the rapper.
