The Nolans - The Nolans Staging Farewell Tour
British pop group The Nolans are reuniting one final time for a farewell tour.
The singing sisters began their career in 1974 as a five-piece - Anne, Denise, Maureen, Linda and Bernie - with younger sibling Coleen joining in 1980.
After several line-up changes, they eventually disbanded in 2005, but Coleen, Bernie, Linda and Maureen reunited in 2009 for a series of shows to mark the 30th anniversary of the release of their biggest hit, 1979's I'm In The Mood For Dancing.
They are now coming together once again for one final tour and reveal they were spurred on to take to the stage after Bernie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010.
Coleen tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "When someone you love goes through that all your priorities change and it makes you feel, 'Life's too short'. The 2009 tour was so brilliant we hoped we could do it again. But this made us go, 'S** it - let's just do it.' We couldn't miss our last chance to sing together again.
"I can't put into words how excited we are about our farewell tour. But every night will be tinged with sadness knowing we're getting nearer the end... the very last time we'll perform. Just thinking about it now I get choked up with emotion and I know all the girls feel the same."
Linda, who was also diagnosed with breast cancer, in 2006, adds, "After Bernie's cancer battle, our bereavements and individual problems, that unity and strength feels even more powerful.
"There are hundreds of women out there just like us and they come to see us because we know, like they do, that life goes on."
The tour will kick off in Nottingham, England in February (13).
