Bafta - The King's Speech Leads Bafta Nominations

Critically-acclaimed THE KING'S SPEECH is set to dominate the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards next month (Feb11), after scoring a massive 14 nominations.
The Tom Hooper movie, about stammering British monarch King George VI, has picked up nods in the Best Film and Best Director categories, while Colin Firth is tipped for Best Actor and his co-star Helena Bonham Carter will compete for the Best Supporting Actress prize.
The picture is facing a challenge from Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan, which has picked up 12 nominations, including nods for its star Natalie Portman, as Best Actress, and it will face The King's Speech in the Best Film and Best Director categories.
The other movies competing for Best Film are Inception, The Social Network and True Grit, while Hooper and Aronofsky will fight it out for Best Director with Danny Boyle (127 Hours), Christopher Nolan (Inception) and David Fincher (The Social Network).
Firth, who scooped the Golden Globe for Best Actor on Sunday (16Jan11), is facing competition for the top acting prize from Javier Bardem (Biutiful), Jeff Bridges (True Grit), Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) and James Franco (127 Hours).
Portman will compete against The Kids Are All Right co-stars Annette Bening and Julianne Moore, Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) and Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) for Best Actress, the award she won at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
