The Killers Comeback Begins With UK Tour Announcement
Now the UK can join in the excitement of the band's countrymen, with MTV reporting that Brandon Flowers and co will be visiting the country for a full tour later in the Autumn, the band undertaking a tour of the country's arenas. It was arguably the UK that broke The Killers, with their debut LP Hot Fuss charting at top spot back in 2004 as opposed to a high of seven in its home country. Indeed, both the bands subsequent LPs made the top spot of the UK album charts too with the three albums going six, four and four times platinum respectively.
The group will be kicking off their UK tour on October 26th up in Glasgow, Scotland before predominantly playing north of England venues including shows in Newcastle, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester, finishing off the jaunt with two nights at London's O2 Arena on November 16th and 17th. Before that they'll be playing an intimate free show on September 10th in the capital's Hmv Forum, the night before headlining the iTunes Festival at Camden's Cornerhouse.
