The Killers - The Killers Beat Pink To The Top Of The U.k. Album Charts

The Killers have scored their fourth number one album in Britain.

The Las Vegas-based group's Battle Born has become the third-fastest selling album of the year in the U.K., beating out opening week sales of Pink's The Truth About Love.

Rockers The Script have dropped a spot to third on the new chart with Number 3, while last week's number one, Coexist by The xx, falls to four.

Emeli Sande rounds out the top five with Our Version Of Events.

Meanwhile, The Script's Hall Of Fame, featuring will.i.am, held Example's Say Nothing from the top of the singles chart, while Internet sensation Psy crashed into the top three at three with his dance anthem Gangnam Style.
