The Hoff Finally Hits Edinburgh In Style!
David Hasselhoff Live takes a sideways look at the Hoff's impressive career, from running topless on beaches, to providing the anthem for the fall of the Berlin Wall and solving crimes in a talking car. The show looks back on the 60-year olds life with a satirical twist, and promises to be hugely entertaining. Hasselhoff will be amongst prestigious company, as the Edinburgh Fringe had been the showcase for some of the U.K's most prominent talents. The show is on at the Pleasance from August 21 - 26.
"That's what the show is about - my crazy journey. My whole life I've been like, woah!" said The Hoff, talking to The Telegraph about his new show, his motivation and some of his strongest memories in showbiz. And he'll have plenty of them. Born in Baltimore, Usa: a 30-year career as a crime fighter and a life-saver seemed to have typecast the larger than life character, but his self-reflective, ironic perspective provides a refreshing aspect to his ever evolving persona. "Ninety nine per cent of people now call me The Hoff - and it's out of respect."
