The Garden Festival Announces New Line Up And Location

Croatia's The Garden Festival has announced the initial wave of acts set to appear in the week-long event. Chilean sensation Nicolas Jaar is set to headline, along with the GRammy nominated Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez. The Garden Festival will run from July 4-11th 2012 and, immediately afterwards, the Electric Elephant festival will open its doors from 12-16th July 2012.

Jaar's debut album, Space Is Only Noise, was released in May 2010 to critical acclaim. Gonzalez, in contrast, has been working in the music industry for over 20 years and has been nominated at the Grammy's a total of four times. He is also one half of the production and remix team Masters At Work.

Making their debut at The Garden Festival will be Larry Tiger and David Woods, more commonly known as Tiger and Woods. Making a return to the festival is 2020 Soundsystem, a band well known for their live shows.

The Garden Festival have also announced the return of their boat and Barbarellas parties with hosts including: We Love; Get Deep; Faith; The Pool; Dope's Birthday Bash; Ra; Beats In Space and Futureboogie. More DJs are yet to be announced.

This year, The Garden Festival will be held at The Garden Tisno in Croatia. It boasts its own village, with eighty on-site apartments; thirty Indian Shikar tents and a stunning view of the bay below. The town of Tisno itself is a ten minute walk away from the festival site, which is situated near many national parks and beaches. It is also equidistant to the Zadar and Split airports.
