The band closed the annual event in Montreal by performing their classic 1999 album The Soft Bulletin in its entirety to the delight of fans.

But Coyne had a special surprise in store for their encore - he introduced a couple, known only as Graham and Robyn, to the stage and acted as minister to conduct the vows.

He wrapped up the ceremony by saying, "By the power of The Flaming Lips, the universe and Lsd, I now pronounce you man and wife!"

The newlyweds, who were both dressed as characters from the movie The Wizard of Oz, were then taken backstage, where their union was made official by a real man of the cloth, reports Spinner.com.
