Horror classic The Exorcist has been named the Scariest Movie Ever Made in a new magazine poll.
The 1973 film beat ROSEMARY'S BABY and The Shining in the Stuff survey, which appears in the American men's magazine's November (06) issue.
The top 10 films on the list are:
1. THE EXORCIST
2. ROSEMARY'S BABY
3. THE SHINING
4. Halloween
5. Jaws
6. Nightmare On Elm Street
7. Psycho
8. CANDYMAN
9. Planet Of The Apes
10. ALIEN.
