The Coral Make A Move Into Movies

Liverpudlian indie-rock outfit The Coral are set to surprise their fans by focussing on writing film soundtracks.

The band have been working on scores for movies as well as getting involved in both acting and directing, according to the Sun.

And keyboard player Nick Power explained that the tracks were something the Wirral-based six piece had been looking to do for a long time.

"We've done a few tracks already. We Haven't released them yet - but we will do," he told the newspaper.

"I’ve always wanted to do them. We all love JOHN BARRY, Bond themes, things like that," he added.

THE CORAL released their fourth, and most recent, studio album, ROOTS AND ECHOES this August, with it debuting at number eight on the UK album chart.
