The Big Pink - The Big Pink Duo Loses Co-founding Member

The Big Pink's co-founder Milo Cordell has quit the British electronic rock duo.

The London-based group was formed by Cordell and his pal Robbie Furze in 2007, but the pair has since parted ways so Cordell can concentrate on building up his record label.

In an email to Nme.com editors, Furze writes, "Milo has moved to Nyc to run his label, Merok, and is no longer an active member in the big pink."

However, the singer/guitarist insists he will continue under the same moniker and has no plans to stop recording or touring.

He adds, "I am in the studio at the moment and well into the third Big Pink record. I have been working with a variety of different people... We are supporting Brmc (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) at the end of March in Uk. To road test some new material and blast out some old."
