A rare poster advertising a concert by The Beatles at the U.K.'s famed Cavern Club just months before they shot to stardom has sold at auction for $44,000 (£27,500).
The Fab Four were regulars at the venue in their hometown of Liverpool before landing a record deal, but banners from their days at the club are scarce.
Now officials at London auction house Christie's have sold a poster from a Beatles show in November, 1962 for $44,000.
Editors at trade listings website WhatSellsBest.com report the billboard ad is the earliest Beatles poster Christie's staff have ever sold.
