The Bangles Blast Cowell's 'Mean' Shows

Eighties pop stars THE BANGLES have taken aim at SIMON COWELL, blaming the music mogul for "excessive meanness" on his reality shows.
The Eternal Flame hitmakers are unimpressed with the star's scathing putdowns on programmes such as Britain's The X Factor and America's Got Talent, and they're calling on Cowell to tone down his Mr. Nasty persona.
Singer Vicki Peterson tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "I think this putting people up to knock them down has gone too far. It is excessive meanness - Simon Cowell is to blame and I think he takes it too far."
Sister Debbi adds, "The TV companies have a responsibility to make sure people are not damaged by being laughed at by millions."
