Speaking during the 'After The Final Rose' show, the two announced they'd begin their life together by travelling to Africa on a humanitarian trip, saying, "I'm going to take Emily to Africa with my company, People Water, and build wells". The Utah native - who joked that they might get hitched there - is the co-founder of People Water, a sustainable water bottle creator. The company has sponsored a well in Nicaragua and has two more planned for Ghana. Speaking of his fiancee, Jef said, "She's the most amazing girl in world, so perfect for me, so funny.I wish they showed more of that. She's so witty and caring and smart and the best mom. She's so gorgeous. We just fit perfectly together". Holm was one of 25 men vying for the attentions of Maynard in the latest series of the reality show, and the bride-to-be said, "I never in a million years thought I'd be so in love as I am". Jef presented Emily with a Neil Lane ring during the season finale, asking, "Emily, will you marry me?". After accepting the proposal, Emily and Jef embraced each other, saying, "I love you".

Hopefully the engagement will work out a little better than Maynard's brief romance with 'The Bachelor' Brad Womack. The couple split just months after announcing their plans to marry on the show.
