Tess Daly - Tess Daly And Fearne Cotton To Introduce Gary Barlow Supergroup

Tess Daly and Fearne Cotton have launched the 31st live Children in Need show, the much-loved Bbc telethon that's raised hundreds of millions for charity since its beginnings in 1980. Joining them will be a slew of some of the biggest stars on the planet, all chipping in to try and raise money for a myriad of both national and international charities.
One Direction have opened the show with the earlier scheduled 'One Show' seeing its presenter Matt Baker complete a 500 mile rickshaw ride from Edinburgh to London in the name of the fundraiser. Baker started the challenge a week ago on November 11th, cycling for up to 10 hours a day; he's raised some 1.2 million for Children in Need. Commenting on the experience, Baker said "To actually see people running after you with money and wanting you to have it, it's just unbelievable".
Bbc confirms that other stars to take part tonight include The Collective, a super group made up of Gary Barlow, Ed Sheeran, Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Ms Dynamite, Tulisa, Wretch 32, Rizzle Kicks, Mz Bratt, Dot Rotten and Labrinth, who'll be performing this year's charity song 'Teardrop'. Elsewhere Lord Alan Sugar will be entering rival business enterprise program 'Dragon's Den', whilst 'How To Look Good Naked's' Gok Wan will be singing - as will The Muppets, who'll be performing classic track 'Mah Na Mah Na'.
