Ted Nugent - Ted Nugent Under Attack For Hate-filled Anti-obama Remarks

U.S. presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and his aides have been asked to distance themselves from gun-loving rocker Ted Nugent over violent remarks he made about Barack Obama.
The Cat Scratch Fever singer, who has endorsed Republican Romney for President, hit the headlines over the weekend (14-15Apr12) with comments he made at a National Rifle Association event in Missouri.
Nugent said, "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will be either dead or in jail by this time next year," and he went on to compare the leader's administration to "coyotes" who needed to be shot, adding, "We need to ride into the battlefield and chop their heads off in November."
His remarks have upset many Obama supporters and officials at political watchdog groups, who feel Nugent went too far and Romney should comment on his vitriol.
Michael Keegan, President of People for the American Way, says, "We don't expect moderation from Ted Nugent, but we do expect a major presidential candidate like Mitt Romney to rebuke a prominent supporter for spewing hate-filled and violent rhetoric against the President of the United States."
