Ted Nugent Praises Mark Zuckerberg For Meat Vow
Rocker Ted Nugent has heaped praise on Mark Zuckerberg after the Facebook founder pledged to become a more responsible consumer by only eating meat from animals he kills himself.
The billionaire mogul, portrayed in The Social Network by Jesse Eisenberg, announced in May (11) he is adopting a sustainable diet and will only consume goats, pigs and chickens which he has hunted.
Nugent, a veteran hunter, is pleased with Zuckerberg's efforts and has since reached out to the internet tycoon to give him tips on how to kill, clean and dress game.
He tells the New York Daily News, "I'm not so much surprised but excited that a man of that demographic and this era's power is coming forth and using the terms 'I'm killing my food. I'm slicing their throats.' That is perfection.
"I'm sincere. I want to teach him the spirituality of minimalist, honest consumerism."
