Taylor Swift's romance with Conor Kennedy has reportedly interested Alec Baldwin.

The '30 Rock' star is said to be keen to find out about the country singer's romance after he was overheard at the Hamptons International Film Festival screening of Rory Kennedy's HBO documentary on Friday (31.08.12) inquiring about the couple's relationship.

According to the New York Post, spies overheard Alec asking Ethel Kennedy ''how her grandson was doing with his new girlfriend''.

The source added: ''Ethel laughed ... she and Rory both seem to really like Taylor.''

Alec might be able to find out more information if he attends the MTV Video Music Awards later this week as Taylor is reportedly planning to take Conor to the event at Los Angeles' Staples Center, where she is to debut a new song from her forthcoming fourth studio album 'Red'.

A source recently said: ''Conor probably won't walk the red carpet, but he'll be there to support her performance at the show!''
