Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift Signs On To Play Joni Mitchell - Report

Taylor Swift has signed on to play Joni Mitchell in the much-anticipated movie adaptation of Sheila Weller's book Girls Like Us.

The tome chronicles the lives of singer/songwriters Mitchell, Carly Simon and Carole King, and Swift has been linked to the project for months.

Now Variety reports she has booked the role.

Allison Pill and Olivia Thirlby are reportedly in talks to portray King, while insiders suggest Girls star Allison Williams and Mad Men's Jessica Pare are front runners to play You're So Vain singer Simon.
