Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift Sets Her Sights On Movie Career
Owing to the success of the film Dr Seuss' The Lorax, in which she voices the character Audrey, Taylor Swift has announced her ambition to begin a run as a fully-fledged star of the silver screen. During an interview with Entertainment Inquirer she mapped out her ambition for the future with a heavy inclination that she will be making many more appearances in front of the camera.
During said interview she revealed that she had long been harbouring a desire to take to acting, having been reading scripts since 2007, stating "I've been reading scripts for about five years- just kind of under the radar, asking my agents to please send me everything that might be good." The 'Romeo and Juliet' singer first appeared on our screens with a small role in the film Valentines Day, a role that severely wetted her appetite for acting roles.
Swift recently had an invitation to a fan to join her to the Academy of Country Music Awards declined as the fan was unfortunately too sick to accompany her to the event. Following the news Swift was quick to announce her best wishes to the cancer stricken teen.
Dr Seuss' The Lorax also features the vocal talents of Ed Helms, Zac Efron and Betty White, with Danny Devito playing the eponymous Lorax.
