Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift's 'Red' Given the Green Light by Critics
Red, the latest album from country/pop starlet Taylor Swift is set to be released on October 22nd, and if the first round of critical praise is anything to go by, then the album will most likely shoot right off the shelves when it is released.
Whilst a decent sized roundup of reviews has yet to appear on websites like Metracritic, for example, a swift browse few the many reviews already on the web shows an almost universal show of approval and will likely make this, her fourth album, her most widely approved of the lot.
British newspapers The Guardian and The Telegraph have both commended the singer's first steps into the world of adult pop from teen stardom, whilst Digital Spy UK also bravo-ed the album, giving it an impressive four stars. Meanwhile on the other side of the Atlantic, Entertainment Weekly gave the album a more than acceptable B+.
At only 22, it's hard to process the fact that Swift already has such a large repertoire to fall back on, and even more impressive is the fact that she has also kept her clean-cut image after all these year and still remained a popular, mainstream star. Pop music is a better place with artists like Swift, long may she continue to find success.
