Taylor Swift And Tour Mates Went RED, White And Blue For Independence Day

Taylor Swift is still on duty with her “Red” tour, but when she gets a break, the woman knows how to relax. For her 4th of July celebration, the singer stopped by her $17 million house in Watch Hill, Rhode Island for a little (or a lot of) fun in the sun. Naturally, she shared some pictures of the festivities, on her blog.

“Independence Day is my favorite holiday, ” Swift explained in the post.

The singer ditched the stilettos and went barefoot for the national holiday.

The singer is known for her flawless, sophisticated red carpet style, however she ditched the heavy gowns and dark makeup for a bikini and face paint on the national holiday. In the photos, the 22-year-old lady is seen lounging on lush green grass, doing face paint for her friends, playing pool and volleyball with her tour mates, and generally having a blast at her waterfront party. Off the touring clock, the singer enjoyed spending some time in her off days with her troupe of backup dancers, who, apparently are also down for some patriotic fun.

Normally calm and collected, in the pictures Taylor is obviously having a blast.

"Happy belated 4th of July," the Grammy winner wrote, along with the colorful action shots. "My touring family joined me at the beach and I wanted to show you some of the pictures because you're the reason we all get to be on tour together." She adds, "You've seen us all in our show costumes on the Red Tour … here's what we all look like in RED, white, and blue.”

She spent the day with her regular and her her "touring" family.
