Yes indeed, there are many things in the video that are red - Taylor's lips, her guitar, and the pieces of cloth that her cavorting dancers are waving around. The video gives a flavour of her famed live performances, showing what an able performer she as she engages the teeming crowds by walking up and down the stage runways.

If you love your favourite songs underpinned with frenzied crowd screams then you'll adore Swift's new vid, which displays her singing, dancing, playing guitar and undergoing some seriously impressive outfit changes in front of a boogying sea of exultant fans.

23 year-old Swift's 'Red' video is a welcome departure from her previous music videos which often depict her failed relationships with ex-boyfriends, who have included most notably Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy and Harry Styles. This time, however, it's hard to think of a more fitting tribute the superstar performer could pay to the to the signing of the declaration of independence on today; the country's most auspicious holiday.

Well there's no stage-diving from Swift sadly, her fabulous hair is just too lustrous and her designer dresses too expensive to run the risk of being sullied by those many waving, sticky fingers.
