Taylor Swift 'fascinated' by love

Taylor Swift has ''always been fascinated'' by love.

The 22-year-old singer - who has previously dated a string of Hollywood hunks including Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal - has wanted to find her perfect man ever since she was a youngster.

Speaking about love, she said: ''[It is] something I've always been fascinated by, ever since I was a little kid.''

Taylor often writes about love in her song lyrics but admits her parents ''never had any desire'' for her to break into the music industry, despite the blonde beauty convincing them to move from their Pennsylvania home to Nashville - the home of country music legends such as The Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain - when she was just 14 years old.

But her stockbroker father Scott and mother Andrea are now able to use their own careers to give Taylor plenty of advice to help her achieve success.

She explained: ''My parents were thrown into this - they never had any desire for me to do music. But now my dad tells me what to invest in and what not to, and my mum has a great marketing mind - she always has a good gut instinct on things.''

Taylor rarely speaks openly about her love life, preferring to convey her feelings in her hit songs, and she admits to being cautious about offloading her true feelings because when she has children they will be able to read everything she's ever said in the media.

She added to Maire Claire magazine: ''That factors into everything I do. They're going to have computers and they're going to be able to read what I said in this interview.''
