Bruno Mars - Taylor Swift Beats Bruno Mars To U.s. Album Number One

Bruno Mars has missed out on landing a Christmas chart double in the U.S. - his new album Unorthodox Jukebox has debuted behind Taylor Swift's Red on the Billboard 200.

The R&B star secured the holiday number one this week (19Dec12) when his single Locked Out of Heaven held on to the top of the Hot 100 countdown, but Swift's latest release has kept him from making it a double celebration.

Michael Buble's Christmas album climbs up two spots to three, while One Direction and Rod Stewart round out the top five with Take Me Home and Merry Christmas, Baby respectively.

Unorthodox Jukebox isn't the only new entry in the top 10 - rapper The Game lands at six with Jesus Piece.
