Taylor Lautner - Taylor Lautner Not Confirmed To Appear In Gus Van Sant Movie

Taylor Lautner is not planning to start filming a small-budget movie, directed by Gus Van Sant. After rumours that TAYLOR LAUNTER was going to star in a boxing movie this week, the Twilight star has publically stated that nothing is set in stone yet.

On Wednesday (2 Nov 2011) The Hollywood Reporter had claimed that the Twilight star had been chosen to star in a boxing drama as a Russian boxer in an illegal Chinatown boxing club. However according to E!Online, talking to reporters yesterday (4 Nov 2011), Lautner stated that it was too early to talk about anything: 'It's very premature. He is a very talented director who I've always looked up to and I've always wanted to work with'. Furthermore, Dustin Lance Black, who was supposedly writing the movie's script, told E!Online that whilst he isn't attached to the project in any way, he would love to see Van Sant and Lautner collaborate: 'Gus has been so adept in the past at getting people to get to their best performances, and I would really love to see Taylor at his best, and I don't know that we've seen it yet. I think that if someone can help him find the best him on screen, it's Gus'.

Taylor Lautner will be appearing in the latest Twilight film, 'Breaking Dawn: Part 1' across cinemas worldwide this month.
