Tarantino 'Glad To Finish Writing New Film'

Quentin Tarantino has expressed relief in completing the screenplay for his latest movie, World War II drama INGLORIOUS BASTARDS.

The Pulp FICTION star spoke to the BBC at the Princetown Film Festival at the weekend, where he was given a Filmmaker on The Edge award.

Tarantino, 45, said he has now finished the writing for his much-anticipated new film, adding that the project will progress into pre-production immediately.

"You're talking to a real happy dude right now," he said

"I didn't know everyone knew about it, so this is actually kind of very bizarre for me."

Names such as Sylvester Stallone and Tim Roth are rumoured to be attached to the project, which is the director's sixth major feature.

"This is a modern, in-your-face movie. This is not a TV movie period piece," Tarantino said of the forthcoming picture.

The Guardian reports that the director may release the movie in a similar way to Kill Bill by splitting it into two halves.
