Tamara Mellon's eight-year-old daughter Minty was unimpressed with the style when she accompanied her mother to Buckingham Palace.
Tamara Mellon's daughter is shocked by how badly people dress.
The Jimmy Choo shoe tycoon was honoured with an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for her services to the British fashion industry last week, and revealed her eight-year-old daughter Minty was unimpressed with the style on show at Buckingham Palace.
She said: "She was so well behaved - the ceremony lasted two hours. She was with a friend of mine and apparently she couldn't believe how badly dressed people were! No, don't write that - say she was looking at how people were dressed."
Tamara - who co-founded the exclusive footwear company in 1996 and now owns a fifth of the firm as - admitted she is always looking to expand the brand.
The ambitious 43-year-old fashionista will unveil the first Jimmy Choo perfume later this week and is planning lines of jewellery, men's shoes and watches.
She added to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "We have a wish list. There's a lot of growth out there - in Asia, especially China - and a lot of new product lines. This isn't just about shoes and bags, it's about a whole lifestyle - the Jimmy Choo woman."
