Take That - Take That Top Reunited Bands Rich List
14 January 2013Pop stars Take That have seen off competition from reunited rockers Blur and the Stone Roses to be named Britain's most successful comeback act.
The Never Forget hitmakers topped a poll of the highest-earning reunited bands with takings of $208 million (£130 million) since they re-emerged on the music scene in 2005 after a decade-long absence.
The group's earnings dwarfs that of the Spice Girls, who have made $40 million (£25 million) since reuniting in 2007 for a comeback tour, putting them ahead of rock group Blur at number three with $24 million (£15 million) and the Stone Roses at four with $19.2 million (£12 million).
The top five is rounded out by another pop group, Steps, with $16 million (£10 million), while other entries in the top 10 include Madness, the Sex Pistols and Pulp.
