Take That Shortlisted For Best Single At Brits
GARY BARLOW, HOWARD DONALD, JASON ORANGE and Mark Owen have surprised critics with an amazing turnaround after churning out a number one single, album and sell-out tour since reforming last year.
The Mancunian singers will be up against THE FEELING's FILL MY LITTLE WORLD, Razorlight with AMERICA, Will Young's track ALL TIME LOVE and Snow Patrol's never-ending CHASING CARS for the gong.
And the five acts have been whittled down to a shortlist from an original 11, voted for by radio listeners, with the winner again decided by the public vote during the show on Valentine's Day this week.
TAKE THAT will also be performing at the event, alongside other top acts including Oasis and American bands Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Killers.
Chavtastic singer LILY ALLEN, who was originally up for four Brit Awards, narrowly missed out on the Best Single shortlist meaning she is now tied first with three nominations along with Muse, GNARLS BARKLEY and SNOW PATROL.
