Pain - T-pain Launching New 'Auto-tune' System

Rapper T-Pain is launching a new vocal effect system to rival Auto-Tune.
The hip-hop star is a longtime fan of the electronically-enhanced voice program, which has been used by stars including Cher and Kanye West, and even partnered with the company behind the technology to launch the system as an iPhone application.
He is now teaming up with an audio technology firm called Izotope to produce his own vocal processor, called the T-Pain effect.
In a statement released to Allhiphop.com, he says "I vow right here, right now, to never use Auto-Tune again. I'm onto something that I think is bigger and better called The T-Pain Effect."
T-Pain will unveil the new technology at the upcoming E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on 7 June (11).
