Sylvester Stallone Working On Rambo 5

Sylvester Stallone plans to play John Rambo for one last time in a final instalment of the film franchise.

The 65-year-old actor is working on a fifth 'Rambo' movie - which has also been known as 'Rambo: The Last Stand' - and revealed the VietNam war veteran turned mercenary will go out in a ''blaze of glory''.

He said: ''There's a volcanic eruption [brewing]. The magma of Rambo is coming to the surface. It's one thing where you lay down the final culmination of your life where you can articulate it, but also act on it where he realises what his destiny really is.

''It's not to be a farmer, it's not to be obscure; it's to go out in a blaze of glory in a heroic fashion. But is he really doing it for himself or is he doing it because that's just his id? That's who he is.''

Sylvester - who last appeared as the character in 2008's 'Rambo' - hinted the fifth movie in the series could be set in Mexico and a storyline may revolve around the Latin American country.

Speaking to MTV News, he added: ''I like the whole Mexican situation, what's going on down there. So I'm working on a formula for it right now.''

Sylvester is currently working on action movies 'The Expendables 2', 'Bullet to the Head' and 'The Tomb' - and he recently admitted he is ''dying'' to portray John Rambo one more time.

He said: ''Im dying to do another 'Rambo'. He's in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don't think Rambo likes Mexicans.''

Don't kill off the Rambo character no matter how glorious the blaze. He portrays the kind of hero who is a survivor and will never die. His death will put the knife into the hearts of Rambo's fans.
